The Specifications of a Mr. Heater Garage Heater

A reliable heat source is critical in cold climates, and particularly when you heat with electricity. Mr. Heater manufactures five distinct gas-fired models made for use in garages, shops, utility buildings and other nonresidential spaces. Specifications differ from model to model.

Specifications

The biggest of Mr. Heater’s garage versions boasts 75,000 British thermal units and is intended to heat spaces around 1,000 square feet in size. Even the smaller versions, like the MH25, can heat spaces around 600 square feet. All five versions, with the exclusion of this MHT45, feature CSA certificate. All versions can be found in versions that operate either natural gas or propane, each of making them an perfect heat source when there is an electrical power outage. All components, with the exclusion of the Large Maxx, include thermostats. All garage versions have to be paired with one of Mr. Heater’s exhaust port kits.

Model Names

When buying a Mr. Heater garage heater, pay particular attention to this model number. Those with “NG” at the conclusion of the model names have been intended to burn natural gas. People with “LP” are intended to burn off steam.
