Inspect all exposed wiring in the attic or basement; Why is it safe? Are splices coated by junction boxes?
Is there sufficient space in living areas for appropriate living conditions? Are all bedrooms at least 70 square feet? Assess if walls are structurally sound. Be aware of cracks, quality of paint cover or wallpaper. Do all windows and doors operate? Are they properly aligned? Is flooring secure, without any moisture and level? What is the condition of the bathroom? Are faucets and other fixtures working correctly? Do kitchen cabinets open and close? Is there sufficient ventilation? Do kitchens and bathrooms port directly to the exterior? Do staircases have handrails? Are steps at least 3 feet wide and possess no less than a 10-inch tread?
